On March 28, a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar. According to the US Geological Survey, the quake was recorded 17.2 kilometers from Mandalay at a depth of 10 kilometers. Tremors were also felt in Yangon, Bangkok and other regions.
