New initiative from Trump: Benefits for illegal immigrants? New program in the US

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a new program for undocumented migrants, reuters.com reported.

According to Trump, individuals who voluntarily leave the country will be provided with financial support and a plane ticket. The initiative is being called “voluntary deportation.”

“We’ll give them benefits. A little money and a plane ticket, then we’ll work with them. If they behave well and we want them back, we’ll try to make it happen faster,” Trump told Fox Noticias.

A White House spokesperson confirmed there would be no further comment on the matter.
