
Around 500 patients and medical staff were urgently evacuated from the Main Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs located in Moscow. This was reported by the emergency services.
According to reports, a short circuit occurred in the server room located in the hospital's basement. As a result, the entire building lost power, and for safety reasons, people had to leave the premises.
Rescuers are currently working at the scene. They are eliminating the risk of fire and evacuating those remaining in the building.
According to official information, among the evacuated are more than 300 patients and approximately 170 staff members of the medical facility. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries.
At the same time, specialists have stated that the fire hazard in the server room is completely under control. Work is underway to restore the power supply.
A special investigation has been launched regarding the incident. The technical condition of the electrical equipment and its compliance with safety requirements are being examined.
