First hajj pilgrims return Home with a ceremonial welcome
The first group of Uzbek pilgrims who took part in the 2025 Hajj journey have peacefully and safely returned home. On June 12 at 5:30 PM local time, flight HY-5304, operating on the Jeddah — Tashkent route, successfully landed at Tashkent International Airport. There were 245 pilgrims on board.

According to Uzbekistan Airports' press service, this flight operated by Uzbekistan Airways brought home the first pilgrims of the 2025 Hajj season. They were welcomed at the airport with sincere respect and honor.

In the arrival hall, the pilgrims were warmly greeted by their loved ones, children, and relatives. Special buses were prepared in advance to meet those arriving from the regions. This ensured an organized return to their respective cities.

Authorities reported that from June 12 to June 30, a total of 62 flights from Jeddah to Tashkent, Namangan, Karshi, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, and Nukus are scheduled. Through these flights, 15,150 Uzbek pilgrims are expected to return from their sacred journey.

It is worth noting that Hajj is one of the greatest acts of worship in a Muslim’s life, and those returning from it often carry a deep sense of spiritual purification and renewal. The sincere atmosphere at the airport and the nation’s warm reception of the pilgrims once again highlights the spiritual elevation this journey brings.

The opportunities created for Uzbek pilgrims are a clear reflection of the religious freedom, peace, and stability present in our country.
