Putin and Trump hold a tense conversation on the Middle East
Two of the most important figures in world politics, Russian President Vladimir Putin and former US President Donald Trump, had a long and meaningful telephone conversation on the dangerous situation in the Middle East. According to Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian leader, the conversation lasted about 50 minutes.

During the conversation, Putin sharply criticized Israel's military operation against Iran, saying that this action could threaten peace in the region. According to him, the current conflict is likely to lead to catastrophic consequences that could get out of control in the entire Middle East.

"The Russian leader warned that the further intensification and expansion of the conflict pose a serious threat to global stability," Ushakov said.

Trump, in turn, admitted that, despite the tension of the situation, the strikes carried out by Israel were "effective." At the same time, he stressed the importance of preventing the conflict from escalating.

The two leaders exchanged views not only on the conflict in the Middle East, but also on Iran's nuclear program and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. According to Ushakov, Putin told Trump that Russia is ready to hold talks with Ukraine after June 22. Trump noted this offer, stressing that achieving peace would be beneficial for both sides.

At the end of the conversation, Putin congratulated Donald Trump on his 79th birthday. The meeting demonstrated the willingness of both sides to adopt a diplomatic approach, despite the tense situation.
