Israeli strike causes devastation in Tehran: 17 killed
Tensions in the Middle East are rising once again. According to an official statement issued by Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 17, an airstrike carried out by Israeli military forces on the northern areas of Tehran resulted in the deaths of at least 17 civilians.

According to official information, the missiles struck a road near a medical facility in the city, just as cars and pedestrians were moving along the street, coming directly under attack. Among the dead are a pregnant woman, a minor child, and a three-year-old toddler.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry’s statement also reported a flood caused by the explosion of a water pipeline due to the attack. Several homes and infrastructure facilities were damaged in the incident. A child is said to have drowned in the flood.

According to the figures, another 46 civilians were injured in the attack, some of whom were taken to hospitals in serious condition.

The Israeli side has not issued an official statement regarding the attack, but the situation in the region is becoming increasingly complex. Claims that military operations are targeting civilians are drawing sharp condemnation from the international community.

Experts emphasize that such strikes intensify not only political but also humanitarian crises in the region. Therefore, international organizations must immediately intervene and call for negotiations in the name of peace.
