Tragedy in Tehran: Over 600 killed and thousands injured in Israeli attacks
The capital of Iran, Tehran, is experiencing continuous waves of attacks day and night, and government officials have announced horrifying figures on the number of dead and injured in air strikes over the past 24 hours.

According to Iran’s Minister of Health, Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, Israel has been carrying out aggressive operations against Iranian territory since June 13, 2025. But the strikes in the last 24 hours caused unimaginable devastation.

Tragic figures: hundreds dead, thousands injured
The Ministry of Health reports that since June 13, Israeli strikes have killed 606 people and injured 5,332 civilians to varying degrees. Among those affected are women and children.

Zafarghandi noted that the attacks in the past 24 hours are the most brutal in history. In yesterday’s attack alone 107 people were killed and 1,342 civilians wounded. He emphasized that in some areas the number of those needing medical aid far exceeded hospital capacities.

State of emergency in Tehran, hospitals overwhelmed
Local doctors and medical staff are working several shifts without breaks. Temporary medical points have been opened as hospitals are full. Many injured are being treated at home.

A spokesperson for the ministry stated that some parts of the medical infrastructure, including hospitals, ambulance stations, and pharmacies, have also been damaged due to the attacks.

Brave resistance and unity of the Iranian people
The Iranian people are standing with the government, stepping up efforts to assist the wounded — donating blood, providing humanitarian aid. Volunteers and NGOs have organized rapid response teams in Tehran and other cities to deliver practical help.

Appeal to international community: ordinary people suffer, they didn’t start the war
Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi called on international organizations and all countries that value humanity not to remain indifferent to these tragedies. “The real victims are the ordinary people who did not start the war but suffer its terrible consequences on their bodies,” he said at the meeting.

Iran’s authorities have made strong accusations against Israel, describing attacks on civilians as serious violations of international law.

Conclusion: peace is essential, these tragedies must not repeat
Current events once again show that any military conflict brings tragedies primarily to civilians. Experts, journalists, and peace organizations condemn such strikes and emphasize the need for firm steps toward peace.
