New military aid from the US to Kyiv: Patriot and GMLRS shipment sent

The United States has reactivated military aid deliveries to Ukraine, reports reuters.com. On July 9, the agency, citing two American officials, stated that 155-millimeter artillery shells and GMLRS mobile rockets were sent to Kyiv. On July 8, at a meeting in the White House, Donald Trump confirmed that he personally approved US military assistance in the defense sector for Ukraine, reports reuters.com. This has strategic importance for the Ukrainian army and serves to significantly enhance defense capabilities.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening video address, said that he had instructed Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi to further intensify all contacts with the American side and to strengthen military cooperation between the two countries.
