Over a million people in Israel participated in strikes and demonstrations

Changes in Israel have led to significant transformations in the country's political and social life. According to the Tel Aviv government, there are 50 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, 20 of whom are alive. In connection with this news, over one million people took part in strikes and demonstrations, expressing their dissatisfaction with the government's actions.

This year's strikes and demonstrations have developed faster than other issues. Demonstrators, in particular, demanded the government sign agreements on prisoner exchanges, instead of carrying out a plan to enter the Gaza Strip.

These strikes and demonstrations were large-scale across the country. To achieve maximum impact, many large companies and the private sector joined the protests. Including state and private institutions, protests and strikes continued in municipal authorities. This resulted in disruptions to public transport and key infrastructure.

According to TV reports, as a result of the strike, serious traffic congestion occurred in the capital, and train services were halted. Israeli media reported that tens of thousands of people participated in the central rally in Tel Aviv.

These demonstrations and strikes not only concern political discussions but also help raise attention to human rights and ethical issues. According to human rights organizations, there are currently over 10,800 Palestinians in Israeli prisons, suffering from hunger and torture in harsh conditions, with many of them dying.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with the help of the USA, has been carrying out operations, despite all warnings from the International Court, continuing terrorism, destruction, and human rights violations.
