Another tragic and horrifying incident occurred in Colombia. In the city of Cali, a major explosion took place near the country’s Air Force base. According to preliminary data from local authorities, at least 5 people were killed in the blast, while another 36 sustained injuries of varying severity.
This was officially reported by the city administration. Cali Mayor Alejandro Eder, in his address to the public, described the incident as an attack carried out by narco-terrorists. “Cali has once again become a victim of terrorists. Just a few minutes ago, a truck exploded near the Air Force base,” said the city’s leader.
According to Eder, the government and rescue services are deploying all resources to assist the victims. The official social media page of the city administration also published information on the incident. The statement read: “All medical and rescue services have been mobilized to help the victims. Preliminary data indicates that 5 people have died and 36 citizens have been hospitalized with various injuries.”
