According to the co-author of the study, Professor Joseph Lazio, today scientists are sending into the universe the most powerful radio wave signal that humanity has not yet practically used. In his opinion, this scientific achievement may in the future become a decisive factor in the study of civilizations whose existence beyond Earth cannot be ruled out.
Experts emphasize that the strengthening of the signal and its reaching distant galaxies may allow receiving possible responses from other civilizations close to human intelligence. In this way, humanity will not only rely on astronomical observations and telescopes, but also act through a path directed toward direct communication.
