Russian drone attacks left more than one hundred thousand Ukrainian homes without power
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that more than 100,000 households were left without electricity as a result of Russia’s latest drone attacks. The most damage was recorded in the Poltava, Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

According to the Ministry of Energy, these attacks are a continuation of Russia’s policy of destroying civilian infrastructure ahead of winter. Last year, half of the country’s power capacity was also damaged.

Zelensky said that the attacks were carried out by nearly 100 drones in a single day. In addition to energy facilities, a school in the Kharkiv region and a residential building in Kherson were also damaged.

Ukraine, in turn, reported strikes on oil refineries and fuel depots in Russia. Fighting continues in Donetsk, where Russia is trying to advance in some areas.

Ukrainian officials said that Russian forces that entered the Dnipropetrovsk region had been stopped. However, fighting in the eastern territories continues.
