China has officially introduced a 30-day visa-free regime for Russian citizens. This new rule will be launched on September 15 as a one-year trial.
This change will significantly accelerate the flow of tourists traveling from Russia to the mainland of China and ensure its repeated presence, the Russian Tourism Industry Union (RTSI) reports. This decision is aimed at further developing tourism activities and expanding travel opportunities.
At the same time, the Association of Russian Tour Operators (RTOA) noted the likelihood of an increase in the number of Russians traveling to Asian countries through China. According to the Association's experts, if ticket prices do not rise sharply, this regime can significantly strengthen tourism potential.
This initiative will further strengthen tourist ties between China and Russia, provide more freedom to travelers, and is considered an important step in the development of regional tourism.
