US President Donald Trump, during an important meeting in Washington on September 3, spoke with the newly elected Polish leader Karol Naurocki and made an important statement about the country's military position in the center of Europe. According to him, America does not intend to withdraw its troops from Poland; on the contrary, if necessary, it can further strengthen its presence there.
The White House leader emphasized that Poland has always been a reliable partner for the US, and such a strategic partnership is crucial for Washington. "We will never leave Poland alone in matters of security. If the Poles want, we are ready to further increase our military power in the country," Trump said.
The President also recalled that relations between the two countries have always been historically strong. However, he assessed current connections as "the best and most reliable period."
Polish President Karol Naurocki, highly appreciating the results of the meeting, expressed the following opinion: "Trump gave us security guarantees. This is a huge success for Poland. We agreed to further strengthen our allied relations in the military sphere."
According to him, during the conversation, the involvement of American troops in the territory of Poland and the possibility of its expansion were discussed in detail. Navrotsky also invited Donald Trump for an official visit to Warsaw. The invitation has been accepted, but the date of the visit has not yet been determined.
