Three young men from Uzbekistan died in a tragic road accident in Russia

On September 5, three people died as a result of a road accident in the Zainsky district of Tatarstan. According to Kun.uz sources, all the deceased were citizens of Uzbekistan.

The Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan reported that the road accident occurred at the 38th kilometer of the Naberezhny Chelni-Olmetevsk highway. A Nexia car, for unknown reasons, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a MAN truck.

"The impact was so strong that the car was deformed and turned into a mass of iron. The driver of the car and two passengers died at the scene from their injuries," local media reported.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway. The prosecutor's office took the process under its control.

The Consulate of Uzbekistan in Kazan confirmed that 3 citizens of Uzbekistan died at the scene as a result of the accident.

"The situation is under the control of the Consulate General, and after the completion of the necessary procedures, it is planned to send the bodies to Uzbekistan at the expense of the Migration Agency," the Consulate said in a statement to Kun.uz.

As a result of the accident, young men aged 35, 33, and 30, originally from the Namangan region, died.
