At Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea, a young diver surprised his beloved in an unusual way. According to the New York Post, 21-year-old Daniil from Krasnoyarsk proposed marriage to his longtime girlfriend Nastya underwater.
While underwater, Nastya was exploring the rocky seabed. Suddenly she noticed a champagne bottle skillfully wedged among the stones. Growing curious, she tried to free the bottle, but when she turned around, she was astonished to see Daniil holding an open box with a ring in his hand.
To make the moment of love even more magical, Daniil carefully placed the ring on Nastya’s finger among the bubbles of water. After that, they swam away together holding hands.
The couple has been together for three years and goes to Crimea in the summer to earn money. Their shared love for the sea inspires them to one day settle on the shore.
