Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an important meeting with advisors to the leaders of Great Britain, Germany, France, and Italy. During the conversation, the main topics of discussion were the cessation of hostilities and security issues.
"I am glad that we have a clear plan. At the same time, I am pleased to share some details about what stage we are currently at. "In my opinion, it is very important to have a clear strategy in advance, regardless of which way to end the war is chosen," Zelenskyy said in a statement after the meeting.
He emphasized that Russia not only does not want to end the conflict, but also seeks to escalate it further. According to the Ukrainian leader, by sending drones to Polish territory, Moscow poses a real threat to all of Europe.
"Therefore, it is necessary to complete the process of developing security guarantees as quickly as possible," Zelenskyy added.
He also emphasized his readiness to share his experience in the conflict with Russia with partners and contribute to NATO's overall defense system.
Zelenskyy's statement is considered an important step towards further strengthening security cooperation between Ukraine and Europe.
