Viktor Yushchenko: Ukraine needs to reach Moscow for victory

Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko made a sharp statement about Kyiv's future path in the war. He emphasized that to achieve a real victory, Ukraine must not only restore its borders but also reach Moscow.

According to Yushchenko, the concept of victory is different for everyone. "For some, victory seems enough to stay on the front line. But I can't accept this. This path may leave unresolved problems for future generations," he said.

According to the former president, returning to the borders of 1991 does not mean the full meaning of victory. "I cannot agree with this opinion. If such a decision is made, our children and grandchildren will again be condemned to live in terrible danger. Because as long as the Moscow regime exists, no nation, no state in the world can feel completely secure," Yushchenko added.

He emphasized that for Ukraine and the entire international community to achieve peace and stability, the current political system in Russia must disappear. Therefore, he sees the idea of "reaching Moscow" as the only strategic path.

For information, Viktor Yushchenko served as President of Ukraine from 2005 to 2010 and is known for various political reforms and important steps in international relations in the country's history.
