Netanyahu: Hostages to be freed soon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said hostages held in Gaza will be freed in the coming days. He also said Hamas will be disarmed and Gaza will become peaceful.

In a statement released on Friday, Hamas agreed to free the hostages. Gaza’s administration will be handed to specialists. However, nothing was said about disarmament.

Peace talks are expected to start in Egypt on Monday. US President Donald Trump urged Hamas to act quickly.

Reactions among residents vary: some hope the war will end, others fear Hamas may fall into a trap and the war could continue. Hostages’ families hope their loved ones will be freed soon.
