Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at least five people were killed in yesterday’s missile and drone strikes. In the village of Lapavka, four members of one family, including a 15-year-old girl, were killed. The attacks mainly targeted the Lviv region.
According to Zelensky, Russia launched more than 50 missiles and about 500 drones. Russia said the strikes were aimed at military and infrastructure targets.
In Zaporizhzhia and other regions, strikes also occurred, killing one woman and injuring many others. Power outages affected thousands of consumers.
Zelensky called on the international community to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and said stopping the attacks could open the way for peace talks.
