Dinosaur footprints discovered in the UK

Ancient dinosaur footprints have been found in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. Scientists discovered a 220-meter-long trackway in an area where stone and soil are extracted. This discovery is considered one of the longest dinosaur trackways in the world.

The tracks are believed to belong to a long-necked, plant-eating sauropod dinosaur. Some of them are nearly one meter long and are thought to have been left as the dinosaur walked through mud.

Researchers are studying the prints to learn how the dinosaurs moved and when they might have stopped. The distance between some footprints shows that the dinosaur paused for a moment.

Experts say such discoveries are important for understanding the lives of dinosaurs.
