A tragedy that shocked the criminal world occurred in Cyprus. According to the “Knews” portal, the president of the “Karmiotissa” football club, Stavros Dimostenus, was shot dead by an unknown person on the Limassol highway.
Preliminary reports indicate that the assailant was riding a motorcycle and fired several shots at the car driven by Dimostenus. The incident happened so quickly that locals had no time to react.
After the tragedy, police forces immediately arrived at the scene, and the highway was temporarily closed. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage and taking statements from witnesses.
Law enforcement authorities confirmed that the murder was deliberate. A special operation has been launched to find the perpetrator.
