Experts compared countries with a high reading culture and analyzed the hours spent reading throughout the year.

10 countries that spend the most time reading books:

1. USA - 357 hours;

2. India - 352 hours;

3. Great Britain - 343 hours;

4. France - 305 hours;

5. Italy - 278 hours;

6. Russia - 223 hours;

7. Australia - 217 hours;

8. Spain - 187 hours;

9. Netherlands - 187 hours;

10. Switzerland - 157 hours.

According to the research conclusion, it is noted that in societies that pay attention to reading books, the level of intellectual potential and creative activity is also high.
