According to the official announcement of the Tashkent metro press service, information has spread on social networks claiming that the metro's circle line is still not operational. However, the department denied this information.
Starting from the morning of November 1, the circle line has been fully launched and is open to passengers. There are 12 trains operating on the line at 7-minute intervals.
Metro representatives called on administrators of social networks and Telegram messenger pages not to spread unfounded information and to rely only on official sources. As a reminder, the launch of the metro’s circle line was initially announced for October 18, but this date was later postponed to November 1.
The closure of the line was due to preventative maintenance work.
