The press service of the Ministry of Energy released an official statement. In the territory of the "Do‘stlik" neighborhood of Buka district, Tashkent region, an underground high-pressure gas pipeline was damaged during excavation work with an excavator, and it was decided to temporarily suspend the supply of natural gas.
As a result of the accident, 3,120 households and 28 large consumers were left without gas supply. The outage affected residents of the "Do‘stlik", "O‘zbek", "Toshloq", "Guliston" and "Yangi Hayot" neighborhoods.
Currently, the emergency crew of the district gas supply organization is urgently working to repair the gas pipeline. After the repair work is completed, gas supply will be fully restored.
