The level of public approval of US President Donald Trump has significantly decreased. According to a poll conducted by the independent SSRS for CNN, only 37% of Americans support Trump's actions, while 63% of citizens expressed dissatisfaction with him.
Previously, this figure was around 42%, and in recent months, the president's rating has been steadily declining.
According to experts, trust in Trump has sharply decreased, especially among young people, the elderly, and low-income segments of the population. This situation significantly weakened the president's position in society.
Currently, Trump's approval rate of around 34 percent is reminiscent of the situation during the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack - one of the lowest in his political career.
The dynamics of recent months also show a similar trend: in April, 41% supported Trump, in March - 45%, and in mid-February - 47%.
Experts believe the recent rating decline is due to contradictions between Trump's policies and public expectations.
