Now parties will stop after 22:00

Rules for the activities of weddings and entertainment venues in Kyrgyzstan have once again been put on the agenda. The head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, emphasized the necessity of strict adherence to the law on silence and the government's decision. According to this document, weddings, festive events, as well as the activities of cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs must be completed no later than 22:00.

Tashiyev noted that, despite the decision officially adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, the level of its implementation on the ground is low. In his speech, he cited some examples, for example, noting that the recent wedding in Bishkek lasted until midnight and no one took action. A similar situation was observed in Jalal-Abad, where the event lasted until 00:00.

According to him, control over the execution of the law is the direct responsibility of local self-government bodies. Despite this, it was noted that many heads of khokimiyats are not fulfilling the task.

"Local leaders, you are not fulfilling the instructions given in writing. Therefore, I now officially give an order: after 22:00, weddings, holidays, cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs must be closed everywhere. If someone violates the rules - turn off the power supply," Tashiyev said.

He also emphasized that in any case, the power supply must be cut off in restaurants and dining establishments after 22:00.

It is noted that Tashiev's speech is aimed at further strengthening the measures taken in Kyrgyzstan to ensure public order, peace, and the right of citizens to rest.
