U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he has never touched alcohol throughout his entire life. He connected this decision to a tragic event in his family.
According to him, his brother Fred Trump Jr. became addicted to alcoholic beverages from a young age and in 1981 passed away as a result of this problem. According to Trump, his brother always advised him: “stay away from alcohol,” and this advice remained with him for his whole life.
“I have never drunk even a drop in my entire life. If I had drunk, I might have become the worst person,” he said in his statements.
The president also said that he has never smoked cigarettes. He explained this lifestyle by his sense of responsibility, self-control, and desire to protect his health. According to him, alcohol can ruin a person’s life and destroy families.
