Israel declared its non-recognition of the State of Palestine

Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz's firm statement has once again sparked controversy in the international arena. He emphasized that the establishment of a Palestinian state is absolutely unacceptable and that Gaza must be completely demilitarized in the future. Kats pointed to this as a key factor for Israel's security.

According to the minister, the emergence of a Palestinian state poses a "permanent threat" to Israel. Therefore, the military potential in Gaza must be completely destroyed, and the territory must be controlled through security mechanisms established by Israel.

This statement sparked serious discussions among US and EU diplomats. It is known that many Western officials support the two-state solution as the only stable political path.

At the same time, Israeli officials are firm in their position, emphasizing the need to prioritize security in the current situation.
