Man punished in Turkey for liking women's photos

In Turkey, a man who liked photos of other women on social media was found guilty by the court. This was reported by “Habertürk”.

According to the information, as conflicts between the spouses intensified, the couple filed for divorce. The woman stated that her husband humiliated her, did not provide financial support, and, by liking posts of other women on social media, violated his obligation of marital loyalty.

The court confirmed these accusations and found the man guilty. He was ordered to pay his ex-wife 500,000 liras in moral damages and to provide monthly alimony.

The ruling states that this decision is considered a precedent and may be used in similar cases in the future.
