Woman arrested in Russia for killing Uzbek migrant and burying him under a tree

A horrific crime that occurred in Russia’s Vladimir region caused a major public outcry — a 54-year-old migrant from Uzbekistan was found killed by a local woman who was his acquaintance. This was reported by the local outlet “Zebra TV”.
According to official information, the incident took place in the village of Staroe Perepechino in the Petushinsky district. In November, the relatives of the deceased contacted the police about his disappearance, but during the investigation it became clear that the situation had a much more serious background.
According to the preliminary version of investigators, on November 16 the Uzbek man went to the home of a 48-year-old woman. After consuming alcoholic beverages, a quarrel arose between them. The woman pushed the man, and when he fell to the floor, she reportedly strangled him with a rope.
In order to hide the traces of the crime, the woman buried the body under an apple tree in her yard. The investigation states that the murdered man had lived in Russia for many years and worked at a reinforced concrete products factory in Pokrov. Sources note that the conflict was caused by a debt — the man demanded the return of money he had previously lent, while the woman asked for more.
It was also established that the suspect appropriated the deceased’s phone and bank card. During the inspection of the crime scene, evidence related to the incident was found. Additionally, it was revealed that the woman had previously been convicted of drug-related crimes.
Investigative authorities are preparing to file a motion to place the woman in custody until trial. Necessary examinations and investigative actions are currently ongoing.
