US President Donald Trump held a press conference on the operation to overthrow Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. In his speech, he made a detailed statement about Venezuela's future, US plans, and the attack on Maduro.
Trump warned Venezuelan politicians that there could be a repeat military strike on Venezuela. According to him, Maduro hid in a bunker, but the US military did not allow him to escape. "We cleared everything in 47 seconds and didn't allow Maduro to escape," Trump said.
Following this, Trump announced that he could be killed if the Venezuelan president resists: "We can also launch a second wave of attack, which will be even stronger, we are ready for this. "All political figures in Venezuela must understand that what happened to Maduro could happen to anyone else," he said.
Trump also spoke about new oil investments to enrich the Venezuelan people, emphasizing that America will maintain its top position not only in Venezuela but also globally in the energy sector. He noted that he is ready to spend billions of dollars to restore the oil infrastructure.
"Drug cartels were very cruel in their time, but now we don't have it. We will do this through joint military forces. We will take control of the military in Venezuela and other countries," Trump said.
According to the president, Venezuelan authorities threatened the US with the transition to deploying foreign forces in their territory, and also purchased offensive weapons. He answered questions about the possibility of the US deploying its troops in Venezuela.

He also touched upon the Russia-Ukraine war.
"I thought the conflict between Ukraine and Russia was the lightest conflict, but so far I haven't been able to reconcile them. The US is not losing money in the Ukraine conflict, but is making money," he said.
Trump also never spoke to Putin about Maduro. Donald Trump noted that he is dissatisfied with the talks with Putin on the Ukrainian issue, but there is progress in the matter of establishing peace.
"This war has turned into a bloody bath, and we want to put an end to it. This is a war between Biden, Zelenskyy, and Putin," he said.
