Chechnya’s head Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video on his Telegram channel from a meeting with commanders of the security forces attended by his son, Adam Kadyrov, the republic’s Security Council secretary.
According to Kadyrov, the meeting discussed preparations for upcoming elections in the republic, ensuring security during the voting process, and issues related to countering extremism.
Ramzan Kadyrov noted that during the meeting Adam Kadyrov placed special emphasis on the need to further strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies and various institutions. It was also stated that ensuring security during elections was designated as one of the top priorities.
In addition, Kadyrov said that Adam Kadyrov was awarded the medal “For Services in Enhancing the Safety of Nuclear Power Plants” for his contribution to guarding and ensuring the security of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
It should be recalled that earlier various reports circulated on social media claiming that Adam Kadyrov was hospitalized in serious condition after a traffic accident in Grozny and that preparations were being made to transport him to Moscow.
