It became known when billionaire Galitsky's ex-wife will be buried

The investigator authorized the burial of Aliya Galitskaya, who died in the Moscow Provisional Detention Center. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing her lawyer Dmitry Emelyanov.
According to the defense attorney, after the autopsy and forensic medical examination, the investigative actions were completed in full. The burial permit has already been issued, the burial must take place in the coming days.
The woman's death was announced last Sunday. As previously reported, Aliya Galitskaya took her own life in a detention center after being arrested by the Istri City Court on February 6th on suspicion of extorting $150 million from her ex-husband, Alexander Galitsky, who previously served on the board of directors of one of the Russian banks.
After the incident, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation began investigating the circumstances of the death. The defense insisted on reviewing the preventive measure, while Galitskaya herself denied involvement in the alleged crime.
Last autumn, she filed a lawsuit with the Presnenskaya Court of Moscow to divide the property with her ex-husband. As part of the proceedings, the court seized the defendant's property in Russia. The cadastral value of the objects was 435 million rubles, while the market price, according to the plaintiff's assessment, could exceed 1.2 billion rubles.
The next hearing on the civil case was scheduled for February 10. Due to the death of the plaintiff, the proceedings are expected to be suspended.
