Over the past 24 hours, the US has deployed more than 50 fighter jets to the Middle East. This was reported by the Axios publication.
According to the source, the air force deployed to the region includes the most modern F-35 and F-22 fighters of the fifth generation, as well as F-16 multi-purpose aircraft of the fourth generation.
It is noted that this action is the next stage of measures aimed at strengthening the US military readiness in the region. In particular, officials had previously stated that the United States was gradually increasing its military presence in the Persian Gulf region.
