US President Donald Trump announced his intention to open "closed folders" of government documents related to UFOs, UFOs, and extraterrestrial life. On February 15, former President Barack Obama said in an interview/podcast that there is a high probability of life somewhere due to the vastness of the universe, while jokingly adding that he hadn't seen any evidence of "contacting with us" during his presidency. Later, after these rumors spread like a virus, he gave a more precise explanation in the sense that "I haven't seen any evidence of their arrival on Earth."
On February 19, Trump, in a conversation with journalists, assessed Obama's comments as "disclosing confidential information" and criticized them in the sense that "there was no need to talk about it." That is, in Trump's position, Obama's statement about simple probability is also connected with a "secret."
So far, the Pentagon or other official agencies have not disclosed a specific calendar for when, in what order, and to what extent the documents will be published. Therefore, in the coming days, the most important point will be the question - is it just a statement or will a real mechanism be activated?
It's noteworthy: if a truly large volume of material is revealed, this will definitely make the UFO topic even more "pop-up." But for fans (and conspirology enthusiasts), there's one cold truth: in recent years, official analyses have given explanations like drones, balloons, and optical illusions for most UFO cases, while there's still no definitive proof that it's "outside of Earth."
