A guinea pig jumped from a bar and entered the Guinness Book of Records

San Francisco guinea pig Cora entered the Guinness Book of Records for her athletic skills - she can jump from a bar.

Cora's owner, 13-year-old Zoe Hearn, learned to jump high thanks to her. Zoe began developing the pig's abilities after her friend wondered if rodents could jump.

Zoe's parents built a safe wooden fence for the pig, put towels on it, and the training began. Zoe showed Cora green fruits and lettuce leaves, and over time the pig learned to successfully jump bars of different heights.

Later it was revealed that Cora's talent was unique, and her bar jumping was shown to representatives of the Guinness Book of Records.

Cora jumped from a bar approximately 26.6 cm high. This is currently a record for guinea pigs.

According to Zoe, Cora enjoys listening to her playing the violin and spending time with other guinea pigs, Coco and Chloe.
