One of Iran's prominent political figures, former parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani, made a sharp statement. He emphasized that the political decisions and actions taken by US President Donald Trump should not go unanswered.
According to Larijani, Trump's policies endangered the lives of the Iranian leadership and people. Therefore, he emphasized that there must be punishment for such actions.
"Trump must be punished. He killed our leader and our people. We will not leave this unanswered," Larijani said.
According to the politician, Americans do not sufficiently understand the West Asian region. Some of their political plans are based on the erroneous view that the methods used in other countries can be repeated in this territory.
