In recent hours, US and Israeli bombing of populated areas in Tehran has intensified. The death toll among the population has exceeded a thousand, and many people are said to be trapped under the rubble.
Although reports of US Kurdish forces participating in the ground offensive against Iran were denied, the Iranian government has launched large-scale detention operations against Kurdish armed groups and political parties in Western Iran.
At the same time, military centers of some Kurdish armed groups are being targeted by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
