War with Iran: US spends 6 billion in the first week

It is reported that the first week of the military confrontation with Iran was quite expensive for the US. According to reports, the US spent approximately $6 billion during this period.
According to The New York Times, a significant portion of these funds has been allocated to military needs, particularly the use of ammunition and defense systems. In particular, it is noted that about 4 billion dollars of expenses were allocated for missile interceptor systems and related ammunition.
Experts emphasize that repelling missile and other airstrikes using modern air defense systems requires substantial funding. Such technologies have high accuracy, and each interceptor missile is among the most expensive military equipment.
Therefore, even short-term military conflicts can lead to large financial costs. Analysts believe that if the conflict continues, the costs of war may increase further.
