Iran conflict: Russia and China are the main beneficiaries

According to analysts at The Washington Post, other countries may be currently benefiting the most from the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. In particular, it is noted that this situation creates certain geopolitical opportunities for Russia and China.
The publication notes that the escalating tension in the Middle East could exacerbate instability in the oil market. Potential interruptions in oil supply may lead to an increase in the price of energy resources on the world market. This situation can bring certain economic benefits, especially for Russia, which is one of the largest oil-exporting countries.
Until now, one of the main military and financial aid from the United States has been directed to Ukraine. However, due to the new conflict with Iran, Washington may be forced to allocate its capabilities and resources to other areas as well.
This also increases the likelihood of a reduction in the volume of military aid allocated to Ukraine. Such a situation, naturally, could create a certain strategic advantage for Russia.
In recent years, the main focus of American foreign policy has been on China's growing economic and military potential. However, the conflict with Iran could redirect Washington's attention to the Middle East region.
As a result, there is a possibility that the strategic attention of the United States will be simultaneously divided into two directions. This can create an additional opportunity for China to further expand its sphere of influence in the international arena.
