Trump faced three key decisions in the Iranian crisis

As armed conflicts in the Middle East enter their third week, White House leader Donald Trump seems to have fallen into an unexpected complex geopolitical trap. When the initial plans for the war failed, the "chess game" between Washington and Tehran entered its most dangerous phase.
Zamin.uz analyzes three fateful questions that are at the center of attention of the world community and the difficult choices facing Trump.
The war in the Middle East was not as short and easy as it was said. Iran is responding appropriately to the fierce attacks of the USA and Israel. Now the White House administration will have to make decisive decisions not only on the battlefield, but also in terms of economic and nuclear security.
1. Strait of Hormuz: Trump's economic "blockade"
The Strait of Hormuz, which provides one-fifth of the world's oil and gas flow, is now fully under the control of Iran. Tehran not only attacks tankers but also effectively blocks the waterway by disabling GPS systems.
- Pressure: Trump is concerned about oil prices exceeding $100.
- Rejection: Trump's call for military assistance to NATO and Asian allies (Japan, South Korea, Britain, Germany) "fell in the air." The Allies do not want to enter into a full-scale war.
2. Hark Island: Will Iran's "oil heart" be captured?
90% of Iranian exports of raw materials pass through the island of Hark. The US military plans to bring Tehran to its financial knees by capturing this strategic point.
- Military situation: 50,000 troops are stationed around the Aral Sea, and the US plans to send another 5,000 marines.
- Danger: This step will lead US troops to a direct bloody clash with the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
3. The Iranian Uranium: The largest special operation in history?
The most concerning issue for Washington is the 435 kg of enriched uranium at Tehran's disposal. This substance is stored in underground tunnels in Isfahan.
- Purpose: After the war ends, uranium must be removed from the country so that Iran does not develop nuclear weapons in a short time.
- Radiation hazard: Such an operation can cause not only military but also environmental disaster (radiation spread). Trump has not yet reached a final decision on this matter.
Dear readers, in your opinion, can Trump solve the Hormuz problem without his allies? Will the capture of the "oil heart" of Iran, the island of Hark, stop the war or exacerbate it?
