Mass attack on Ukraine: hundreds of drones and missiles launched

A tense situation has again emerged on Ukrainian territory - a large-scale airstrike is being carried out by the Russian Armed Forces. According to local media and monitoring channels, the strikes were carried out simultaneously from several directions.

It is reported that hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles and various types of cruise and ballistic missiles were launched during this attack, which began on the night of March 24. According to sources, flights of strike drones from six directions were recorded, which indicates the scale of the attack.

It is assumed that cruise missiles of the X-101 type may be used during the night using strategic bombers - Tu-95MS and Tu-160. The use of ballistic missiles "Iskander-M," naval cruise missiles "Kalibr," "Iskander-K," and other high-precision weapons is also highly probable. Some sources note that hypersonic "Kinjal" and "Sirkon" missiles may also be used.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the nation a day earlier, urging serious attention to air raid alerts. He emphasized that intelligence data indicated that the Russian side was preparing for a major strike.

Earlier, some observation sources indicated that Kyiv and the western regions of the country, including important infrastructure facilities, could be targeted. There were also reports that several aircraft belonging to Russian strategic aviation took off from an airfield on the Kola Peninsula.

Official agencies have not yet provided complete and accurate information. However, it is clear that the situation has escalated, the scale of airstrikes has expanded, and the level of danger is high. According to experts, such mass strikes may indicate that the war is moving to a new stage.
