It has been reported that U.S. expenditures for military operations in Iran have reached $25 billion. Pentagon representative Jyuls Xerst announced this while speaking at the Congressional Armed Services Committee.
He noted that the majority of these funds were spent on the procurement of ammunition. However, it was not fully disclosed which expenses were included in the calculation.
In particular, it is unclear whether costs related to the restoration and repair of military bases were included in this amount. According to reports, the U.S. and Israel launched a military operation against Iran on February 28.
Currently, a ceasefire regime is in effect between the parties. At the same time, it is noted that the U.S. has sent additional military forces and aircraft carrier groups to the Middle East.
