Parrots steal pizza in Australia

A funny yet unusual incident occurred in Australia. A local resident ordered a pizza as usual, but this delivery ended with a completely unexpected outcome. The reason: the order didn't reach the owner, but rather some hungry and "resourceful" guests.
It turned out that the courier left the pizza box at the front door. The owner planned to step out within a few minutes. However, that short window of time caused the situation to take a completely different turn.
Cockatoos, common in the area, immediately sensed the situation. Seeing the unattended box at the door, they quickly realized it wasn't just an ordinary object. Most interestingly, the birds not only managed to pry the box open but also "shared" the pizza inside.
Witnesses say the cockatoos were very agile and acted in "cooperation." While one tried to open the box, others kept watch. As a result, the pizza was almost entirely gone within a few minutes.
When the owner stepped outside, a funny yet slightly frustrating sight awaited: an opened box and almost no pizza left. Although this initially caused surprise, it was later accepted as a humorous event.
This incident quickly spread on social media. Users enriched the story with jokes, calling the cockatoos the "most agile thieves." Some even left laughing comments saying, "next time you order pizza, you need to watch out for the birds."
Experts note that cockatoos are highly intelligent and adaptable birds capable of learning various "tricks" in human-inhabited areas. They become especially active and resourceful when it comes to food.
This event once again showed that sometimes the most unexpected "guests" can turn even the simplest situation into an unforgettable adventure.
