
In February 2025, Uzbekistan’s passenger car imports decreased 3.53 times, reports Spot, citing the Customs Committee.
Compared to February 2024, imports fell 2.82 times in quantity and 3.53 times in value. In January 2025, the country imported only 2,570 cars, worth $44.87 million.
- Gasoline-powered cars decreased 2.78 times, with import value dropping from $97.1 million to $34.2 million.
- Electric car imports dropped 4.32 times, totaling $9.5 million, while their average price fell to $10,210.
- Hybrid car imports collapsed 21 times, with total import value plummeting almost 18 times to $1.15 million. However, their average price rose 18.1%, from $22,230 to $26,260.
Market Shares:
- Internal combustion engine (ICE) cars increased from 60.99% to 61.71%.
- Electric cars rose from 26.27% to 36.58%.
- Hybrid cars dropped from 12.74% to 1.71%.
