New Nissan Maxima revealed in first render images
The new Nissan Maxima has been revealed in early renderings, Daily-Motor.ru reported.

The final week of March 2025 brought a surge of online buzz around Nissan. The company announced a crisis recovery strategy and previewed several upcoming models.

This sparked digital designers to join the conversation. One of them, known as "Jlord8," created an unofficial rendering imagining the revival of the Nissan Maxima — the business-class sedan discontinued in 2023.

His concept for the 9th-generation Maxima draws design cues from Nissan’s latest models, especially the Kicks crossover. It features a redesigned front with a sculpted hood, signature lighting, a bold grille, and an aggressive bumper.

The overall look is completed with futuristic wheels and revised side lines with a reimagined window profile.

There is no official confirmation from Nissan about a new Maxima in development. However, if such a model is produced, it will likely feature a hybrid powertrain.

The last production Maxima came with a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine producing 304 hp and 354 Nm, paired with front-wheel drive and a CVT.
