Cobalt production decreased in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, the production volume of Chevrolet Cobalt exceeded 83.1 thousand units in January–July 2025. Compared to the same period last year, the figure decreased by 1.9%, Kursiv reported.

At the same time, Damas production increased by 5.5%, reaching 51.5 thousand units. The Tracker model was produced at 26.3 thousand, and Onix at 18.7 thousand units.

Overall, more than 212.1 thousand passenger cars were produced in the republic in seven months (excluding specialized vehicles). Last year, this figure was 204.9 thousand units.

Truck production rose from 1.8 thousand to 2.3 thousand units. However, engine production for cars fell from 142.2 thousand to 131.8 thousand units.
