UzAuto reduced Chevrolet Cobalt production in July

In July, UzAuto Motors sharply reduced the production and delivery volume of Chevrolet Cobalt. Only 7,193 cars were delivered to customers. For comparison, this figure was 13,035 in June. The reason is said to be summer maintenance work at the factory, according to the Autostrada.uz website.

At the same time, demand for mid-priced models is increasing in the market. Chevrolet Tracker sales increased by 43.8%, and Onix by 88%. Sales of models such as Kia Sonet, BYD Yuan Up, Chery, and Haval also increased by 1.5–2 times.

In total, 216,283 passenger cars were sold in Uzbekistan in the first seven months of 2025. Of these, 178,313 were Chevrolet, 14,239 were Kia, and 12,211 were BYD brands. UzAuto leads the market with an 82.5% share.
