The "Avtotor" plant in Kaliningrad, Russia, has received a permit to assemble the Changan Uni-T crossover. This document is valid until April 2027. This was reported by Ixbt.com xabar.
The version produced in Russia will be completely identical to the model imported from China. The length of the car is 4515 mm, and the wheelbase is 2710 mm.
Under the hood of the crossover, there is a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with 167 horsepower. The engine meets the Euro-5 environmental standard and is designed for 92-octane gasoline.
It works in conjunction with a 7-speed robotic transmission.
The base package of the localized version includes airbags, automatic climate control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Additional options include a sunroof and heated mirrors.
It is not yet known how the cars assembled in Russia will affect the price. Currently, the Chinese-made Changan Uni-T is being sold in Russia at prices ranging from 2.24 million to 3.46 million rubles.
